GOSFORD CORRESPONDENT(S)

Coast Community News (CCN) will be expanding its regional correspondent program in Gosford in 2026.

Correspondents are locals with a passion for their geographic or subject area.  They are typically already embedded in their community and may already write, record or photograph about what happens.

They are committed to trusted content without any external agenda and supplement our professional journalists’ work in reports and activities from their area.

Gosford is undertaking a major boost in economic and social activity, buoyed by new residents, investments and entertainment and social events.

The Gosford Strip precinct, in no small part, is already playing an important part in the social revival of the area and has been awarded an important role by the State Government to promote and coordinate the revitalisation of the area.

These positions are voluntary, though offers a tried and tested way of becoming a trusted voice in their area. Correspondents do often progress to becoming professional journalists, within or outside the organisation.

Guidance and support will be given to successful applicants.

These positions are popular and can result in a brief selection process.
